Doctor of Science (D.Sc.)

Eligibility for D.Sc.

A candidate who is awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the disciplines of science, engineering, technology, and other related areas from a recognized university or its equivalent can apply for the degree of Doctor of Science (D.Sc.), provided that they must have completed post-doctoral work in these fields for a minimum of 2 years and must have made a distinct contribution to society and the advancement of knowledge.

Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.)

Eligibility for D.Litt.

A candidate who is awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the disciplines of business, humanities, social sciences, design, creative arts, and other related areas from a recognized university or its equivalent can apply for the Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.), provided that they must have completed post-doctoral work in these fields for a minimum of 2 years and must have made a distinct contribution to society and the advancement of knowledge.
