About Honorary Doctorate

An honorary degree is an important symbol in the life of the university. It focuses on the meritorious accomplishments and activities of a person in broader areas of benefit and contribution to society, which they have achieved through excellence, inspiration, and leadership skills.

The university nominates individuals as an honor in their respective fields, recognizing their exceptional contributions and achievements in their professional domains.

Honorary Doctorate Ceremony

SELECTION CRITERIA & PROCEDURE

Euro Asian University follows specific criteria set by its Honorary Degrees Committee for the selection of the right candidates. The goal of the Euro Asian Selection Committee is to select recipients across a range of academic and non-academic areas of achievement.

Nomination Process

Euro Asian University conducts the nomination process and broadcasts it widely through public notice on the official website and through partners suggested by Nomination Committee members. Nominations may also be submitted via email through the official university website.

Initial Screening

After nominations are received, an initial screening of the nominations is evaluated by the committee according to standard guidelines and procedures. Successful nominees will be sent an offer letter for further processing.

Selection of Recipients

The Honorary Degrees Committee will select recipients from the active list of nominations, ensuring full conformity with the selection principles and criteria as required for the annual convocation events conducted by the university.

Invitation to Convocation

Successful nominators will be invited to the convocation ceremony to participate. The selection of invitees is made by the President, Director of Convocation, Provost, and Secretary of the Senate.
